We really are incredibly fortunate..... living in a beautiful country where businesses get help when they need it! Here we show:
- Which 5 Norwegian companies received the most COVID-19 support?
- Which 5 industries received the most COVID-19 support in total?
- Which industries received the most per employee?
- How many employees do the companies that received support have?

Please note that corporate structure determines which data is available. Where a group holds several legal entities, the figures are not consolidated. Those entities are therefore not included in the overview.

Number of companies in the overview:
Restaurants and cafés, 2487 companies
Hotels, guest houses.....,489 companies
Hairdressing and other beauty treatment, 3799 companies
Retail sale of clothing, 922 companies
Dental services, 1256 companies

It is only natural that capital-intensive businesses, such as the Flåm Railway, receive a higher share of support per employee. What typically characterizes them is precisely that they have high operating costs and relatively low payroll costs.

The overview shows that companies with 13-50 employees received the largest share of the total support. The total number of businesses and employees is:
Fewer than 5 employees: 12 089 companies, 18173 employees
From 5-12 employees: 6818 companies, 50 512 employees
From 13-50 employees: 5008 companies, 108 491 employees
More than 50 employees: 711 companies, 102 606 employees
